Goldsmith
Working as a goldsmith in the early years of my career gave me crucial technical experience. I developed proficiency in techniques such as gold alloying and refining, microsoldering, laser welding, laser engraving, polishing, rhodium plating and electroforming, enameling, silver forging, aluminum anodizing, and steel hardening.
This strong technical foundation allows me to approach design with exceptional precision and structural integrity.
3D Design and manufacturing
I continuously expand and elevate my skills in 3D modeling, sculpting, rendering, and animation using a variety of CAD and CAM software, as well as AI tools and 3D scanning, to stay at the forefront of technological innovations in the jewelry industry.
Design and Production Manager
As Product Manager at BAUNAT, I started the internal production of our jewellery line. This enabled greater control over the entire manufacturing process and significantly improved the efficiency.
I built and led a talented production team of professional goldsmiths and diamond setters. Together, we consistently met demanding deadlines while maintaining exceptional standards of craftsmanship.
Collaborating closely with the casting team, I gained a deep understanding of how design decisions directly influence quality. This helped me minimize key issues in metal casting, such as porosity and brittleness.
Beyond technical improvements, I designed bespoke creations and the three best-selling collections of the brand. By strategically focusing our range on fewer, high-performing designs, I have contributed to increased sales, reduced excess stock, and streamlined operations.

Lecturer Computer Design
In addition to my professional practice, I share my knowledge as a lecturer in Computer-aided design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts - Antwerp, the fourth oldest art academy in the world. I inspire the next generation of designers to combine technical mastery with creative excellence.
